I had the strangest dream last night. I was going to meet some friends for lunch or something along those lines when I stumble upon a store in a strip mall setting. The strange thing about this store was that it was a Bionicle store. Yup, that’s right, it was a store dedicated to the Lego toy line from the early 2000s. I felt such a sense of joy and elation. I was a child again, everything was fine.
I wandered around the store looking at every set, just going down memory lane. I don’t even know where to begin with this dream. I loved it, obviously, I was huge into Bionicle back in the day. So being able to see it again like this, in its prime was fantastic.
However, I don’t think I can place what this dream may mean. I don’t know dog, I enjoyed the dream, but I still don’t know how to place it. Like what am I supposed to take away from it? Something about how the past will be my solace? Or is it that my happiness was in the past and that revisiting it brings joy, but at the cost of maintaining my current relationship?
Who knows, dog? All I know that it has been a hot minute since I’ve remembered a dream.
