 So here we are again
 thought I kicked it last time
 always was the fool
 but hey, that’s life ain’t it

 Never could get the hang of it,
 always feeding from the hand that got bit
 tried for truth and lost
 but hey, that’s life ain’t it

 went and poured my heart out
 only to see it go down the drain
 what a sight seeing the rain
 but hey, that’s life ain’t it

 Always dreamt that there was more
 that dreams could be reality
 though that hasn’t qute panned out
 but hey, that’s life ain’t it

 Despite this, I’ve come to see
 that there’s hope in despair
 even if you can’t always see it
 but hey, that’s life ain’t it
